One of the most commonly tested concepts is word choice, choosing the most appropriate word in context. Although you’ll have to rely on your fluency in English for a lot of them, the SAT does not make these questions difficult. Word choice will be assessed on the SAT Reading Test and will require students to figure out the precise meaning of a given word or phrase based on how it’s used in a particular passage, often called words in context.
